Accommodations & Fees, What to Bring, & Directions We will be staying at the beautiful Geneva Point Conference Center on the shores of Lake Winnipesaukee. Housing and meals are now a separate fee from the workshop tuition at Fiddleheads. We invite you to choose what works best for your budget and weekend time frame. Please choose from the options below and include that price in your payment to us. Please be aware that sleeping accommodations are on a first-come, first-serve basis, so when you sign up we will determine where to place you. Early registrations will get first priority. All rooms are unheated, and we recommend you dress for cool fall weather yet are treated to an unseasonably warm weekend. Lobbies, workshop rooms, and dining hall are heated. Meals are provided as part of your housing cost, but be aware that there is NO meal provided on Friday evening when you arrive. Housing Options ~ choose 1 package1. Historic Inn ~ Dormitory-style rooms in historic inn (2 people per room) with twin beds (some doubles available for couples), shared restrooms and showers down hallway. Limited rooms available, overflow applicants will be placed in bunk-style cabins. Rooms are unheated, downstairs lobby has woodstove. Package A: 1 night ~ $62 per person (Sat night only.) Price includes 4 meals (Sat lunch, dinner, Sun breakfast, lunch.) Package B: 2 nights ~$108 per person (Fri and Sat nights.) Price includes 5 meals (3 meals Saturday, 2 meals Sunday.) OR 2. College Row Cabins ~ Bunk-style cabins, 2-6 people, minimum 3 people per cabin. Bathroom in the cabin (shower in separate building.) Cabins available for men, women, and mixed. Cabins are unheated. These cabins are well constructed, are more modern than we have had in the past, and have sturdy wooden bunks and good mattresses. Package C: 1 night ~$56 / night per person (Sat night only.) Price includes 4 meals. Package D: 2 nights ~ $88 per person (Fri and Sat nights.) Price includes 5 meals. Package E: We have chosen the Inn and Cabins in order to contain costs for you, but other facilities at higher costs and more amenities are available at Geneva Point. Feel free to call us if you are interested in learning more about these. Tent camping is also available at a lower fee. The weather is unpredictable this time of year, so please be prepared for brisk or rainy weather. Sleeping rooms are not heated, but workshop rooms and dining hall are heated. Please be ready for warm and cool extremes of weather. Useful items for you to bring for an overnight stay are: Flashlight - Pillow - Sleeping bag or sheet and blanket - Sturdy walking shoes Musically speaking you might want to bring:A music stand - Music paper, note paper, and pen/pencil - Tape recorder - Your instruments! - Extra strings or such if you tend to break them. Directions To Geneva Point Conference Center: From the south, take I-93 North to exit 23 and turn right onto route 104 for 9 miles. At the junction of Route 104 and U.S. Route3, take a left onto Route 3 for approximately 1 mile. At the traffic lights in Meredith, bear right onto Route 25 (stay on Route 25) for 8 miles. Take a right onto Moultonboro Neck Road at the traffic lights (just beyond the Service Station) and travel for 5.7 miles. Bear left at fork in the road. Turn left onto Geneva Point Road and follow to the Geneva Point Center entrance sign.
